During my childhood, there were a few
dogs of different breed but
only one at a time in our home.
First one was a German Shepard called Celus, followed by a black
Cocker Spaniel - Mambo, Irish Setter - Ronny, Bolognese Jollie and
the last one was a black, middle sized Puddle called Athos.
I was not able to keep the same breed twice because in my mind,
none could match the last one I lost, it was always so very painful
having to part with each and every one of them ...
1970 at Prague airport, I had seen
the first Cavalier, just passing by.
It was owned by Lady Ambrahams who was visiting from U.K.and
at that time I did not even know that the little cute spaniel was
a Cavalier. I realised that only 10 years later in Cairo - Egypt, where
I saw a second Cavalier in my life, a B/T dog brought from U.K. by
our friend Marja Kurittu.
I fell in love with the Cavalier breed there and then but I had to wait
to get my own for another 10 years. When the time finally came with
a great help of the very same friend, our first Cavalier dog was found.
We got Chester in February 1990 from Maurene and Jim Milton
in England.

FONTELANIA Crest, a lovely tricolour
puppy boy was bought as a pet
and a family member to start with.
It was love at first site .... and a year later, he was also the very
first dog I ever took to a dog show, just for fun.
As it so happened, it was a big International, Top Dog Show 1991 in
Turku - Finland, with over 90 Cavaliers present.
I came about half an hour earlier to watch, what Chester and I were
supposed to do in the ring. Quite amazingly, Chester won his first
CC
there and the show was on !
One year later he became a Multiple Winner and Champion and
finally in Valencia - Spain he was crowned by Pamela Stern-Cross
World Winner
1992.

With his outstanding character Chester
was so much more than we
could ever hope for. We are so gratefull to Maurene and Jim for
letting us have such a special boy.
My first litter was born in 1993, sired by WW-92, CH. Fontelania Crest
from which I kept his daughter Crest Essence and finally decided to
start my own kennel.
Dame of the litter was Nina Enomaa's Anncourt Cheeck To Cheeck.
ANERIDEE kennel was established in
1995, based on Chester and his
lines.
It is a small home kennel and all our dogs are family members.
My daughter Carolina joined in as a co-owner and breeder in 1997.
Our first Champion - Int & Multiple CH Aneridee Christmas Star, was
bred
in the very first litter from Crest Essence and sired by
CH. Space Mission via Chantiz.
We health check our dogs regularly and we take a great care to
place our puppies into responsible and caring homes.
Aneridee dogs live with our friends in Finland, Czech Republic,
Slovakia and as far as Argentina.
Chester has left us in 1999 and I miss him every single day.
He keeps living on in my heart for as long as I live and forever
stays the Sunshine of my life.
We have so wonderful memories and we can see parts of Chester
in his children & grandchildren and they make us so proud of him.
Some of our girls we continue to breed from live with our friends.
At the moment we share our home with 3 Cavalier veteran girls.
FIN Ch. Aneridee Queen of Crest, FIN Ch. Penquite Sonata and
FIN & EST Ch. Fontelania Touch of Class.

Welcome to ANERIDEE Cavaliers !
